Dear Mr. Brown,

On behalf of the Air Force Research Laboratory, Human Effectiveness Directorate, Directed Energy Bioeffects Division, Radio Frequency Radiation Branch (AFRL/HEDR), and the Crowd Behavior Modeling and Simulation (CBM&S) program we would like to express our gratitude for your cooperation with the informational video for CBM&S. Your professional and outstanding video production work created a video that clearly and concisely explains the research of this program.

With an increasing requirement to manage crowds effectively it is necessary to provide appropriate training to our warfighters. This research concentrates on providing the necessary expertise and information about crowd behavior. It is important for us to be able to show, in just a few minutes, the important work we are doing. Your willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty to complete the video with such strict guidelines and tight schedule is appreciated.

Your cooperation and participation with this research will have a positive influence on the future of crowd management. We look forward to the next opportunity to work with dB Sight and Sound.

Very Respectfully,

WILLIAM LEIGH OTTATI

I first met Mr. Dana Brown in 1989-90 at KLRN public television in San Antonio, Texas. I was working as volunteer talent for the station's annual pledge drive, and Dana and I were paired up several times as co-anchors during the fundraising segments. I found Dana to be very personable as well as very talented in his on-air performance.

A short time later, at the start of the Gulf War, I hired Dana Brown to do some audio recordings for San Antonio International Airport. I was Airport Public Relations Manager at the time, and we needed recorded public announcements about security restrictions to be played in the terminals. Dana's deep resonant voice provided the kind of authoritative quality we wanted for the announcements. Actually, to this day, you can hear Dana's voice on airport terminal announcements, plus promotional announcements over airport telephones while you're on hold.

Dana's expertise was also needed on another airport project. Every three years, large airports are required to execute emergency drills to practice their mass rescue skills. Dana Brown was hired to produce a video documentary of the aircraft rescue drill. Dana produced, scripted and voiced the documentary with the help of a 3-man camera crew. His final production for the airport was so impressive that I submitted it to an international airport communications contest. Dana's production came in first place!

As a result of Dana's contact with the airport, I know he was hired by other people interested in his production work. Dana Brown is always enthusiastic about his client work, and takes great pride in doing it right. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend him to anyone seeking a great talent to do a truly professional job.

Sincerely,

Linda M. Wasserman

I have known Dana Brown professionally for approximately 6 years while working as a Producer at the San Antonio PBS affiliate, KLRN-TV9. I have observed Dana in various activities in the broadcast business and continue to be aware of his work in other entities. Dana has a great attitude toward any job he pursues and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to each project
.
Several years ago Dana produced a half-hour special documentary for the Art Beat Series which has been rebroadcast several times. The special focused on Jazz in San Antonio. Dana's treatment of the subject was thorough. He creatively wove interviews and performance by today's jazz musicians with a history of jazz in San Antonio. His approach was new and fresh and very well received. I appreciate Dana's observations that jazz was a neglected area for coverage on ArtBeat. His familiarity with the subject matter and the key musicians definitely contributed to the high quality of the program content. His expertise and creativity in broadcast enabled Dana to produce a show we were proud to broadcast and repeat.

My working relationship with Dana Brown has always been very positive. His pre-production planning was thorough; he completed the program for broadcast in a timely fashion and always kept me appraised of the progress during the production phase.
In addition to working with Dana on ArtBeat, I have had a working relationship with him for years in other aspects of broadcast. He has always been willing to assist in our fund-raising activities and excels at on-air talent and voice-over work.

Sincerely,

Marlene Richardson

Senior Producer, KLRN-TV9

I just received the CD of our new Summer Saving Specials radio spot, and felt the ad was outstanding — just like the previous ads you produced for us.

Our spring "Escape to Paradise" campaign really rang the cash register... sales increased 90% during April and May compared to the same period of the previous year! Based on this success, I had a much easier time getting budget approval for this new flight...who could argue with such success?
I look forward to having you produce all our broadcast advertising in the future.
Regards,

Don Harrison
